A straightforward guide to cookies, browser storage and your choices on our website.
Last Updated: 16 October 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you use a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tags and pixels. They can support website features, remember choices, measure use or help with advertising.
This policy explains the technologies used by the Little Brambles website and how optional Google Analytics, embedded content and any future advertising tools are controlled. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is handled.
Our website uses WordPress and page-building tools that may store information in your browser to support page features, check browser compatibility and remember settings. Secure access cookies may also be used if you request access to a private preview or log in to an authorised area. These are separate from analytics and advertising tools.
Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you request, consent is not required for that purpose. This does not make every convenience or marketing feature essential.
Session cookies and session storage normally last until the relevant browser session or tab closes. Persistent cookies last for their set period, and local storage can remain until cleared by the website or your browser. Access cookies are limited by the relevant login or preview period.
Preference storage: our first-party lb_cookie_preferences cookie remembers your category choices, consent version and the date you made them for 180 days. It is set after you save a choice, is not used for advertising, and does not contain your name or contact details. Removing it causes the notice to appear again.
Google Analytics is used only after you allow the Analytics category. It helps us understand visits, popular pages, traffic sources and website performance. Choosing Necessary Only prevents this tag from loading.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_8KVH5CRJ3K to distinguish visitors and maintain session information. Their default expiry is two years and may be refreshed when used, subject to browser limits and future configuration. Our consent choice expires sooner, after 180 days. Google’s cookie information explains these settings.
You can switch Analytics off in Cookie Settings. We stop the tag and remove its accessible first-party analytics cookies. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are not enabled by this installation.
If advertising tools are introduced, Google Ads or other paid-ad platforms may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies to measure which adverts lead to visits or enquiries, manage campaign performance, and support remarketing or personalised advertising where you agree to it.
Advertising-related storage and access requires consent. It is not made essential simply because it helps promote the nursery. Before such tools are enabled, we will identify the relevant providers and purposes and provide suitable choices.
For Google services, see How Google Uses Information From Sites And Apps. You can also review personalised-ad preferences through Google My Ad Centre. Other platforms provide their own privacy and advertising settings.
The contact page includes a Google map, which stays off until you allow External Content through Cookie Settings. Some website fonts are requested from Google’s servers. These requests can share technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page being visited. An embedded map may use third-party cookies or storage depending on Google’s settings, your browser and whether you are signed in to a Google account.
A font request is not the same as enabling Google Analytics or Google Ads. Google explains its use of information in its Privacy Policy. If you follow an external or social-media link, the destination website’s own cookie information applies.
You can choose Accept to allow all available optional categories, or Necessary Only to keep them off. Use Cookie Settings in the website footer at any time to review your choices or withdraw consent. Closing the notice or continuing to browse does not give consent.
Manage Preferences separates analytics, marketing and external content. The Analytics choice controls Google Analytics. Marketing is not currently active and cannot be enabled through the notice yet. The External Content choice controls the Google Maps embed. We will update these details and request a fresh choice when new providers or purposes are introduced.
Browser settings also let you view or remove cookies. Blocking all storage may stop essential website features from working.
