How we use and look after information shared through the Little Brambles website.
Last Updated: 16 October 2026
Little Brambles Nursery is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. This policy covers website visits, enquiries, requests to visit the nursery and newsletter sign-ups. Nursery care, safeguarding and employment records may require additional privacy information.
You can contact us at admin@littlebramblesnursery.co.uk, call 01772 285776, or write to Little Brambles Nursery, Haydocks Lane, Cottam, Preston, PR4 0NY.
When you get in touch, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, message and preferred visit or start dates. Where you choose to provide them, an enquiry may also include your child’s name, date of birth and preferred attendance pattern. Newsletter sign-ups collect your email address.
Our forms may also record the time of submission, the page used and an IP address to help us administer enquiries and protect the website. Providing information is your choice, but without the contact details marked as required we may be unable to respond or arrange a visit.
The website is intended for parents, carers and other adults. Please share only information needed for your enquiry, and contact us to arrange an appropriate way to discuss medical, safeguarding or other sensitive matters.
When relying on legitimate interests, we consider the purpose, necessity and effect on your privacy, including the particular care needed for children’s information.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they find the website and whether it works well on different devices. It loads only after you allow Analytics through our cookie notice or Cookie Settings. Choosing Necessary Only keeps it off.
Google Analytics may process online identifiers, browser and device details, approximate location, referring pages and interactions with the site. This helps improve our content, usability and search engine optimisation. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are not enabled by this installation. We do not add names, email addresses, child details or enquiry contents to analytics events.
You can withdraw Analytics permission at any time through Cookie Settings. Google explains its processing in How Google Uses Information From Sites And Apps and its Privacy Policy.
Where we run paid advertising, services such as Google Ads, social-media advertising or other advertising platforms may help measure campaign results. If their tracking tools are enabled, they may use cookies, pixels or similar technology to associate an advert with a website visit or enquiry. Remarketing, where used and consented to, can help show relevant adverts to previous visitors on other websites or apps.
Any such use will depend on the tools actually enabled and the choices you make. We will identify relevant advertising providers and obtain consent for advertising-related device storage or access, and for personalised advertising where required. Mentioning a service in this policy does not mean that it is active or that you have agreed to it.
For more information about Google’s processing and controls, see How Google Uses Information From Sites And Apps and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Information may be handled by providers helping us host, maintain and secure the website, manage email, store enquiries or provide professional support. Where appointed, website, SEO and marketing support providers may need access relevant to their work. We may also disclose information where a legal obligation requires it or where necessary to deal with a legal claim.
The website uses Google services for some fonts. Our Google Maps location map loads only when you allow External Content in Cookie Settings. Loading these services can send Google technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the referring page; the map may also use its own storage or cookies. Google’s privacy information explains its processing. Links to other websites and social platforms are subject to those organisations’ own privacy notices.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, applicable safeguards are required, such as an approved adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
We keep website enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage relevant follow-up and meet applicable legal or record-keeping needs. The period depends on the type of enquiry, whether a nursery relationship follows, and whether a complaint or legal issue remains unresolved. Newsletter details are needed while you remain subscribed; a limited record of an opt-out may be retained to respect your choice.
Cookie and browser-storage lifetimes depend on the technology and its configuration, as explained in our Cookie Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no website, email service or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, have information erased, restrict its use or receive certain information in a portable format. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
You can object at any time to the use of your information for direct marketing. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. To stop nursery updates, use an unsubscribe option where provided or email us and ask to be removed.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Contact admin@littlebramblesnursery.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing information.
You can raise concerns with us or complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first.
We may update this policy when the website, services or relevant requirements change. The date above shows when this version was last updated. Please also read our Cookie Policy for information about cookies and similar technologies.
Tell us a little about your child and choose a preferred date. A member of the Little Brambles team will be in touch to confirm your visit.
We use these details to arrange your visit. Read our Privacy Policy.
